This is a 1 5/8" Complete Sidewinder Style Exhaust System for VW Type 1 Bug. The system was set up to work in the Type 1 bug. Now with new and improved mounting strap for the muffler system. 

Please note: When installing on a Type 2, the muffler will hit the bumper mounts. And, without the bumper, it sits vary low on the bus. We recommend that you get the header only and mount a different muffler in a higher location. The header and flanges are both available online.
