The guy I ride with all the time uses these with sneakers, and there's nothing he can't do with that combo, and he doesn't go any slower for it. They're made for BMX riding, so of course they're good with sneakers. The large surface area makes them comfortable with any shoe. The shoe-grip is good, the reflectors are built-in, they require no maintenance to be maintained, they spin like the dickens, they're light and don't break, they're made in Japan, and they cost less than fast-food lunches for three.
