Sackville TrunkSack Small
The Sackville Trunksacks, with their dry-waxed blackish green fab, brown leather, silver reflective stripe, and brass fittings look like miniature pirates chests. They're based on the no longer made Little Loafer and Big Loafer, with a few differences that don't amount to much, but make some sense:
--the zipper flaps are separate, one on the left, one on the right, and none in front. In a hard pour it might be fine to have the zipper in front covered, but really, now---how much water can get in? Separating them gives easier access to the zipper. But the other way is good, too.
--now the flap opens toward you. This way, it's a little easier to access your rubies and doubloons as you ride, and the wind blows the lid shut.
--a 3M Scotchlite reflective unracing stripe runs around the perimeter, keeping you visible at night from all angles.
If you're looking for a little tuff-as-nails bag to fit atop a Nitto-made Mark's Rack, Mini-front, or M-12, or a nearly as cute much larger just-as-tough one to fit on a Nitto Top Rack or just about any other rear rack with roughly 5 inches between the rails....then these are good ones.
